Reflection 3.2
Reflection 3.2
I am finding wiki a lot harder to use than blogger however am slowly learning the ropes. As this is my second blogging tool I have found that wiki can be used in a more multi-use way where pages can be uploaded and built upon through multiple members. Wiki is an excellent website speaking in terms of student collaborating on their work, for example after starting the wiki their is a selection box where you can state whether you are associated with a school and then link your wikispace with that school. Wikis can be a useful tool in the teaching world as it is an online space that can bring teachers and students together on the same space.

In regards to my pedagogy using wiki could be a great space to discuss, compare and share students knowledge, thoughts, opinions and studies where others can draw information and help others with their work. Not only that but it can be accessed by the whole class and so me as the teacher can add helpful resources such as videos, pictures, links, websites, audio and other helpful knowledge that can enhance their learning. As students are co creators, wikis are great for collaborative work as well as establishing a peer reviewing network within the class, so students can build with others not against them.
Wiki can be used as a collective series of thinking and publishing on an online space which substituting working in their notebooks to working online with others therefore fulfilling the substitution and augmentation levels of the SAMR model. Modification on wikis is the discovery of working with others and sharing their ideas and commenting feedback to help both the student and ones self with the content and expanding their knowledge. Redefinition using wikis may occur if students were to create an online platform that they used where everyone contributes a different piece of content relating to the topics in which every student will benefit and learn something new and use it towards their learning.
